Over the past couple of year or so i've started watching, reading and buying more anime related products this ranges from figures, to manga, posters/wall scrolls and alot of DvD's. My obsession started about 3 years ago and although my collection isn't huge it is as big as i can afford with my limited income.
In this post i would like to talk about the first anime i ever watched and what first got me hooked into not only anime and manga but Japan aswell. Death Note was my first anime and i was addicted within the first 10 minutes, so much that i ended up watching the entire series in one sitting, i think what i enjoyed most was just how different it was to anything i had seen before plus the story was great.
Although i think the ending of Death Note should of ended up with Light on top (not enough ' bad guys' win in the end for my liking) i thought the way the series ended worked well and made sense which was a plus. This first experience with anime would make me want to do some research on the subject which lead me to other great animes which i will post about over the next couple of days.
